SiBRAIN is a standardized microcontroller add-on board, which allows very simple installation and replacement of the microcontroller unit (MCU) on a development board equipped with the SiBRAIN Card socket. By introducing the new SiBRAIN standard, we have ensured the absolute compatibility between the development board and any of the supported MCUs, regardless of their pin number and compatibility. SiBRAIN is equipped with two 168-pin mezzanine connectors, allowing it to support even MCUs with extremely high pin count. This board features the BQ25601, an I2C controlled battery charger for high input voltage and narrow voltage DC power path management from Texas Instruments. This buck charger supports USB, and it’s optimized for USB voltage input. The low impedance power path optimizes switch-mode operation efficiency, reduces battery charging time, and extends battery life during discharge. It also has a programmable current limiting, allowing it to use an external power supply rated up to 13.5V. Perfect control over RBG LEDs
LED Driver 3 click is an RGB LED driver, capable of driving RGB LEDs with up to 30mA per segment, via the digital I2C interface. It comes with an RGB LED onboard, and is capable of displaying a palette of 32768 colors. It features an integrated circuit with three independent LED driver sections and a programmable gradual dimming control, which gives a smooth dimming effect. Heat dissipation is taken to the minimum, due to a fact that the used driver IC works with up to 94% efficiency.
